Scientific Revolution- The Scientific Revolution was a new way of thinking about the natural world.

Nicolaus Copernicus- A guy who questioned a theory after 1,300 years about how earth is not in the middle of the solar system.

heliocentric theory- A Theory which said that the earth is in the middle of the solar system.

Johannes Kepler - Another Guy who thought the sun was in the middle of the solar system , and the planets were going around in ovals due to gravity pulling and pushing the planets.

Galileo Galilei - Astronomer; found the law of pendulum

scientific method- scientific method is a logical procedure for gathering and testing ideas

Francis Bacon -an English politician and writer, had a passionate interest in science.

René Descartes- He developed analytical geometry, which linked algebra and geometry

Isaac Newton-helped to bring together their breakthroughs under a single theory of motion
