1. Write one paragraph that compares L'Ouverture with Napoleon. The topic sentence of your paragraph should be "Toussaint L'Ouverture and Napoleon Bonaparte had much in common."

2. What made L'Ouverture's constitution significant?
3. Why do you think Napoleon waited until L'Ouverture left Haiti before trying to bring back slavery?
